My Swedish labmate walked into the lab this morning and told me some Malaysians were going to burn the Swedish flag today.
A French labmate, who overheard our conversation, suggested that me and him should take a picture of us hugging each other and post it on the internet, as a peacemaking sign :p
She then asked what we would do if war erupted between the two nations....
Swedish: I might have to go into war...
Malaysian: Do you have national service in your country?
Swedish: Well, they have the right to force me to take a gun and go into war....
French: But they cannot force you to shoot someone.... or maybe they'd just shoot you instead... hahaha...
Swedish: Actually, I'd probably take my family and run away...
Malaysian: Haha... I'd probably do the same....
